Electrotechnical Standardization in Finland
SESKO is the electro-technical standardization association in Finland. According to its constitution SESKO participates as a representative of our country, in cooperation with
IEC and
CENELEC on global electro-technical standardization. SESKO’s duty is to enforce the results of this work as national SFS standards. SESKO is also involved in several certifying systems.
SESKO is an independent, charitable association and its members widely represent Finnish society as a whole: business-life and non-profit associations, electro-technical industry, research institutes, testing organizations and authorities. SESKO’s board has ten members and they are elected by the meeting of its association every three years.
SESKO is a member of the Finnish Standards Association
(SFS) and one of its standards-writing bodies.
