Educational co-operation

Standardization Seminars

SFS and SESKO visit schools each year - mainly in polytechnics and technical universities. Our aim is to keep standards as a part of teaching and support schools with self-study material. We in SESKO along with our colleagues in standardization have a vision; in the electric field there would no longer be generations which lack the nesessary knowledge regarding industry standards when entering the labour market.

If you wish a standards presentation arranged for your institute, please contact Pia.Rouste(at) New ideas for co-operation with schools are always welcome.

Site for students

Standardisoinnin oppilaitosportaali
The site is in Finnish only.

The website designed to provide information primarily for students and teachers presents different areas of standardization grouped together. It is a reliable and updated source of information, intented to distribute standardization lecture and self study materials.

Presentation material

SESKO provides presentation material (only in Finnish) on electrotechnical standards and standardization. The material may be used freely when indicating the source.

Discount for educational institutions

Educational institutions receive a discount on the individual SFS and ISO standards. Many institutions also use the SFS Online - please ask from your school library or SFS Customer Service.
